Specifications and Construction

  • Van Dusen K1 Kayaks include a lightweight carbon-fiber monocoque hull and solid deck, a molded carbon-fiber seat, and an under-stern rudder.

  • The Mohican K1, originally released in 2006, is designed to the USCA unlimited class specification and gives paddlers another option in marathon racing kayaks.
  • The Mohican has a self-bailing cockpit, like a surf ski, for self rescuing and safety in open water.

  • The Mohawk K1 was designed to the ICF sprint kayak rules. No longer available.
