Van Dusen Advantage Shell Rack
The racks are back! As always, Van Dusen boat racks feature fittings that hold your Advantage or Wing Rigger Traditional shell securely in place, but now they’ve been updated. The racks now use a single support beam to make them stronger and more compact. With our specially shaped u-bolts and thumb nuts, mounting the rack to your car rack has never been easier (order U-bolt kit separately). The basic rack is designed to carry your boat without the wing rigger attached, plus a set of sculls.
To carry a boat with the rigger attached, you must select the Optional wing rigger kit, which includes a wing rigger support, fasteners, and wing rigger bungees.
A U-bolt kit is also available. This kit includes 2 of our specially shaped u-bolts that attach the rack support beam to your car rack, plus a set of 4 thumb nuts. Mounting the rack to your car has never been easier.
