The Farr 60 Sprit manufactured for KIWI SPIRIT is a seven-foot long retractable bowsprit.
Kiwi Spirit is also designed and built to circle the globe entirely green; no hydrocarbons will be used whatsoever. No gas, propane or butane will be aboard during the circumnavigation. Solar panels line the deck, small hydro regenerators are mounted under the vessel, and a series of wind generators will bring power back to the boat’s ion phosphate batteries.
